Buy side investment research: Insurance -

This project is to deliver a buy side market research to support the acquisition of a small to mid-size private  insurance services company (Rev: $10-$100MM / EBITDA > $2MM). The research will include a list of 25 - 75 potential target companies that fit the below criteria; a list of investment banks and brokers in the space; recent transactions and multiples, as well as relevant trade associations and conferences. 

Our client is an investment firm with an insurance services portfolio. Our client is seeking to acquire insurance businesses with a primary focus in billing and payment, third party administrators (TPAs), call centers, and claims processing centers. Secondary focus is Managing General Agencies, Managing General Underwriters, wholesale and retail brokerages and/or insurance advisory services providers.

We're looking for well established businesses that currently provide services to large commercial and/or government clients. Target companies should have a proven management team and/or large corporate partner, strong competitive advantages with barriers to entry, and a profitable business with strong growth prospects. We seek to build a suite of insurance offerings to serve large corporations, government entities, private equity firms, and middle market businesses.  We founded our insurance services company in 2013 in partnership with a global broker and advisory firm, and we are seeking to build on the platform.
